Owner Andy Kolb combines a passion for building with years of hands-on building experience. His aim is always to produce perfect CAD details that foster clear communication of the building process and result in high quality construction documents.

Andy has been involved in the building trades for over 25 years in various businesses, positions, and careers, including carpentry, boatbuilding, and general contracting.

After retraining in computer science and graphic design, Andy worked as a web developer during the "boom" but began to miss building design and process. He decided to combine his new talents and knowledge with prior skills and experience and apply them all towards architectural drafting.

His favorite projects involve the careful integration of design and construction in large, design-intensive, residential projects in which perfection is an ultimate goal.

Andy lives with his wife Linda in their Pasatiempo home, just north of downtown Santa Cruz, CA off of Highway 17.
